Dubli’s Reverse Auction Explained
Dubli Xpress is a variation on a reverse auction. All products show an initial sales price that is among the lowest, if not the lowest to be found online. That’s the product’s starting price. The actual current price is hidden until one decides to check the price by using a Dubli credit (value: 80 cents US). With each use of a Dubli credit, the sales price will decrease by 25 cents US. Therefore the current sales price will always be lower than the starting sales price. Very often it will be significantly lower. If someone uses a Dubli credit at Dubli.com for looking at the current sales price of an Xpress product, three things will happen:
- the current sales price will be decreased by 25 cents;
- after this the current sales price will be displayed
- Immediately one receives the opportunity to purchase the product with its indicated sales price.
If one hesitates for too long someone else may just snatch it away for an even lower sales price. The more people on the Dubli network and the more interest in a particular product the faster is the bidding and the faster the price drops.
After the product is sold Dubli delivers the product directly from its warehouse so there are not bottle necks in the delivery.
